LG Engineering Essentials (MLV-ENG)

What you will learn:
The manufacturers guidelines for system selection, piping and wiring systems connected to the indoor and outdoor LG Multi V air conditioning equipment. Introduction to LATS HVAC and LATS CAPS selection software.

During this session, we will be discussing the engineering principals and best practices for designing and implementing Variable Refrigerant Flow systems in your project.

• VRF system designs for cold climate applications – Low ambient heating capacity
• LATS – Software overview
• Conditioning outside air with VRF
• Specialty fan coil units
• Q&A

Prerequisites:

1. Advanced technical knowledge of commercial a/c, heat pump and applied systems
2. Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Excel,Power Point and Word
3. LG CAPS, LG HVAC Software (to be obtained during class)
