Overview – Chilled Water (June 16th)

The presentation will be approximately 2 hours in length, with a Q&A session following covering fundamentals & advanced concepts of chilled water plants.

Topics Include:

  1. The three basic piping systems & operation
  2. VSD control layers
  3. Low DeltaT Syndrome – causes, effects, and solutions
  4. Design & Control Considerations (VPF)
  5. Advising the owner/engineer

Speaker bio:

Our speaker is Roy Hubbard, a more than 40-year veteran in the chilled water industry, 38 years of service with York both before & during the JCI years. Roy is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, invented the York calc software in 1987 and has been the sole developer since that time. While his humility will prevent him from saying this, Roy is a chilled water plant application & design expert known both nationally & internationally; some of brightest & best minds in the business look to Roy’s for his expertise.
