- December’s chiller seminar will cover topics focused around refrigerants and the series counterflow application of chilled water systems. In the first hour we will cover the status of current and industry standard refrigerants and introduce refrigerants of the future as well as differentiating centrifugal chillers refrigerant types versus other compressor styles. During the second hour, we will address application of a series counter flow system with a set of chillers: how is it set up, what are the advantages, and what do you need to know when applying? Finally, the seminar will discuss control set up for using two chillers in series counterflow to maximize efficiency.
