DPT’s Big Virtual Learninghouse: IAQ – AHU System Design 101

We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.

Overview

From healthcare to higher education, from office buildings to data centers – every project is different. Not every project requires the cost or complexity of a custom air handling unit. If you understand the basics of proper air handing unit (AHU) design then you can achieve the selection flexibility and performance of a custom system with reduced lead time, easy specification and cost-savings typically associated with cataloged air handlers. The presentation this week will focus on AHU Design 101 and the capabilities of the YORK® Solution™ air handlers.

  • AHU design methodology – AHU design is different than AHU selection and it’s important to know why and how.
  • AHU design rules of thumb – What are they and what are the engineering principles behind them?
  • AHU design optimization – Understanding how to maximize performance while minimizing costs is one of the many key concerns of the design professional.
  • Q&A with an AHU design subject matter expert.

*Certifications of attendance are available for this event upon request.
